ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) 
(a) Ph.D. Degree in Clinical Psychology First Class M.A. Degree in Psychology or D.M. & SP/M.Phil. in Medical & Social Psychology of a recognized University or any other University recognized as equivalent by NIMHANS

(b) Ph.D. Degree in Neurophysiology Master's Degree in Life Sciences/M.Phil./M.D./D.N.B./M.Ch. in Neurosurgery /D.M. in Neurology of a recognized University or any other University recognized as equivalent by NIMHANS

(c )Ph.D. in Biophysics 
     Ph.D. in Biostatistics
     Ph.D. in Epidemiology
     Ph.D. in Health Education
     Ph.D. in Human Genetics
     Ph.D. in Microbiology
     Ph.D. in Neuroanaesthasia
     Ph.D. in Neurochemistry
     Ph.D. in Neuropathology
     Ph.D. in Neurosurgery
     Ph.D. in Neurovirology
     Ph.D. in Psychiatric Social Work
     Ph.D. in Psychopharmacology
     Ph.D. in Speech Pathology

A Master's degree in any discipline related to Mental Health and Neuro Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate or D.M. in Neurology/M.Ch. in Neurosurgery/M.D./M.S./D.N.B. of a recognized University or any other University recognized as equivalent by the NIMHANS

(3.) M.Ch. in Neurosurgery

(4.) M.D. in Psychological Medicine

(5.) Diploma in Psychological & Social Medicine (i) MBBS Degree of a recognized University or any other University recognized as equivalent by the NIMHANS(ii) A certificate to the effect that compulsory rotating internship of 1 year after MBBS or its equivalent recognized by the MCI should be produced before date notified in the prospectus(iii) Full registration with the State Medical Council

(6.) M.Phil. in Medical & Social Psychology M.A Degree in Psychology of a recognized University or any other University recognized as equivalent by the NIMHANS securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate of the Masters' Degree as whole

(7.) M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work Masters' Degree of Social work of a recognized University or any other University recognized as equivalent by the NIMHANS securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate of the Masters' Degree as whole

(8.) M.Phil. in Neurophysiology MBBS or Maters Degree in Life Sciences of a recognized University or any other University recognized as equivalent by the NIMHANS securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate of the Masters' Degree as whole

(9.) M.Phil. in Biophysics MBBS or Maters Degree in Life Sciences of a recognized University or any other University recognized as equivalent by the NIMHANS securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate of the Masters' Degree as whole

(10.) M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing Registered Nurses with B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Degree in Hospital; Nursing Education, Institution or Community Health setting
