Eligibility Criteria: -
1). A Candidate
must possess M.B.B.S.
Degree of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences or of a
University recognized by the Medical Council of India and must have
completed the required period of pre-registration internship
or rotating housemanship (12
months) in
a recognized hospital. Those who are likely to complete their
internship after 31st January need not apply.
2). The Candidate must have obtained 55%
marks in aggregate in all M.B.B.S. professional Examinations. The
Institute Graduates for being eligible to avail of 33%
reservation must have also obtained 55% marks in all M.B.B.S.
professional Examinations. The Candidates belonging to S.C. /S.T.
/Rural Area / Backward Areas and those working in Family Welfare
Programs must have obtained 50% marks in aggregate in all M.B.B.S.
professional Examinations. Candidates
with more than 2 failures
in M.B.B.S. professional Examinations will not
be eligible
for admission to M.D. /M.S. Courses. A deduction of 1%
and 3%
marks respectively shall be made for having failed once or twice in
any of the M.B.B.S. professional Examinations for calculating the
percentage of marks for eligibility determination.
